Alex qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2001, after graduating from Birmingham University with a degree in accounting and finance. 

Alex’s career began in practice but he moved into the telecoms industry where he worked as a financial controller for 5 years both in the UK and Spain. He was more recently financial controller, and then director and shareholder, within an independent invoice finance group of companies with turnover approaching £3.5million which included accountancy services.  As well as taking commercial decisions Alex managed all client work, including monthly management accounts, statutory year end accounts, corporation tax computations, VAT, Payroll, company secretarial, personal tax and bookkeeping.  

Alex ran his own accountancy practice for several years providing accountancy support and services to small businesses.

Alex specialises in producing management accounts and on time information for clients. He has considerable experience of the recruitment industry and invoice finance.
